Stonehenge

Stonehenge
is believed to originate around 2500 BC. Its sturcture and purpose
have been under speculation for centuries. This English prehistoric
display of large stones that are stacked and placed in a circular
fashion indicate that someone had intended for them to be that way.
Some have speculated that it was a burial place, a time measurement,
or a healing place.
There
is a legend of giants helping Merlin build Stonehenge. This Arthurian
legend indicates that these stones originated from Africa and that
the rocks were nicknamed, "The Giant's Dance". According
to the legend, Stonehenge was originally built in Ireland and was
later moved to England. Apparently, after the giants placed the stones
in Ireland, men could not move the stones until Merlin stepped in
and used "gear" and aquired skills to move them. (Source:
